28 March: show up and show out

Thousands will gather in Central London on 28 March with the Together Alliance to champion unity over division. Napo members are invited to take part, design powerful banners and help show that probation and family court staff stand proudly for equality, solidarity and public service

Thousands of people from across the country will take to Central London on Saturday 28 March as part of the Together Alliance to send a strong message: unity and hope will always defeat division and hate.

Napo is a proud participant in that movement and are asking members to help shape what our presence looks like and how powerful it feels.

Bring the creativity, bring your banners

We’re launching a Napo banner-making competition. Branches, workplaces and individuals are invited to design bold, eye-catching banners that reflect our values: anti-racist, pro-worker, pro-public service.

Whether it’s a powerful slogan about solidarity, a creative design reflecting probation and family court work, or something that captures why unity matters in 2026 we want to see it.

Winning banners will be featured prominently across our digital channels. This is our chance to show that probation and family court staff stand proudly for equality and justice inside and outside the workplace.

Mobilise for 28 March

Showing up matters. When Napo members stand shoulder to shoulder with other unions, community groups and campaigners, it sends a message: working people refuse to be divided.

Not everyone will want to lead chants or hold a megaphone and that’s fine. There are countless ways to get involved:

Trade unionism is about ordinary people doing extraordinary things together.

The forces that undermine workers’ rights rely on apathy and disengagement. Our strength comes from participation and solidarity. Every member who steps forward strengthens all of us.
