A guillotine or cuffs? It’s up to you.

The ballot is here — and your power lies in voting YES to both questions. Don’t tie our hands. A strike mandate is the only thing ministers can’t ignore.

The threat of strike action hangs over the government like a guillotine. Sharp. Swift. Impossible to ignore.

The threat of action short of strike? That’s like handcuffs. One they probably think they can wriggle their slippery wrists out of.

To put it plainly: if you only vote for one, they’ll exploit it.

But if every member votes YES to both, we box them in. No room to manoeuvre. No easy escape.

Strike action isn’t always the first step, but it’s a threat we must be able to make. Without it, our campaign is weakened before it begins.
Action short of strike is powerful too, But is most effective when it’s backed by the shadow of something stronger.

We’re not asking you to be reckless. We’re asking you to be smart.
To keep your tools sharp.
To vote with power, not just protest.

Vote YES to both.
Don’t pull your punches.
This time, we hit back with everything we’ve got.
