Celebrating the trailblazing spirit of Black Women Trade Unionists

As we embark upon Black History Month, The TUC will be hosting an evening to celebrate contemporary black women trade unionists from across the movement.

As we embark upon Black History Month, The TUC will be hosting an evening to celebrate contemporary black women trade unionists from across the movement. The event will include conversations with inspiring black female leaders from our unions and feature opportunities for networking and discussion. These remarkable women have played a crucial role in shaping the labour movement, fighting for workers’ rights, and breaking down barriers..

This event will not only serve as a platform to acknowledge their achievements but also inspire future generations of Black women who are vastly underrepresented within leadership structures in unions. So, let’s come together, raise our glasses, and toast to these remarkable trailblazers who continue to pave the way for equality and justice in the workplace!

If you would like to join the event at the TUC in London on the 10th October you can find out further information here:
