Napo Magazine - The Trade Union, Professional Association and campaigning organisation for Probation and Family Court staff news.

Do you want to be a Napo National Officer?

Could you step up and fill one of the vacant Napo National Officer posts becoming vacant in October?

Katie Lomas, Ikki Bhogal and Siobhan Foreman reach the end of their terms of office at AGM in October. This means we will be having elections during summer to fill the following posts:

  • National Chair
  • National Vice Chair Probation (two posts)

Nomination forms will come to you later in summer so you have some time to consider if you would like to stand.

Being a national officer can seem daunting but the Napo HQ team are really happy to help you to decide if it is right for you.

You can shadow officers or officials, talk to any of us about our roles and our experiences or just ask questions about how it all works – just get in touch with Ian Lawrence at Napo HQ to find out more.

We recently reported that Ikki Bhogal has stepped down from her National Vice Chair role early as she has moved to a new role in Probation.

We will be asking NEC to consider appointing someone to fill the vacancy on a temporary basis, until AGM in October. If you are interested in this please contact Katie Lomas and Ian Lawrence at Napo HQ before 15th June.
