The negotiations on Harmonising pay and other terms and conditions for staff who transferred in to the Probation Service from CRC parent organisations and CRC supply chain organisations are continuing.
We know that members are anxious to know that the harmonisation offer will be and how it will affect them and we also know it has taken longer than we had hoped. The harmonisation is very complex due to both the number of different terms and conditions people in this group have and the different circumstances they are in post-transfer. It is vital that we take the time to get the best offer we can for our members.
We hope that we will be in a position to give more information in the coming weeks, and as soon as we have a firm timetable for the next part of the process (explaining the offer and the ballot) we will share it.
