Logistics for 18 June March and Demo
Assembling will be from 10.30am Portland Place (BBC Broadcasting House) for a march to Parliament Square followed by a rally.
The TUC wants everyone coming to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Please see here regarding accessibility for disabled marchers https://www.tuc.org.uk/accessibility-disabled-marchers
Unions will be organising transport to London and more details can be found here, including who to contact to book places https://www.tuc.org.uk/travel-coach – as we asked last week, please do not leave this till the last week in order to avoid missing a place on a coach if you want to travel this way.
This is especially important from branches coming from the North as there will be train disruptions that weekend. Please can branches keep Annoesjka Valent at HQ informed (if not done so yet) of how many members are intending to come and especially if you have managed to get yourself booked on coaches.
We have not yet been given the line-up for the demonstration and where Napo’s contingent is expected to be but as soon as we have we will be sending an update including a central meeting point for Napo members.
