The Napo and POA motion calling for A royal commission into the government failures on the probation service and criminal justice system was carried at the TUC Congress this weekend.
The motion was moved by Mark Fairhurst of the POA and seconded by Napo National Officer, Ben Cockburn.
Representatives from PCS, Community and Unison also spoke in support.
