Napo Chair, Ben Cockburn, took to the rostrum at the TUC Congress on Tuesday calling for the government to provide an emergency financial package for probation and an end to short-term prison sentences.
Motion 60: Prison’s are full but so is probation was carried by delegates who moments before listened to Labour leader, Keir Starmer, set out his plans for rebuilding the country.
