Calling Napo’s Young Members

Napo has a Young Members’ Network and if you want to know more about it and get involved, as well as regarding the GFTU weekend coming up, please get in touch

A great free opportunity to network with members from other unions at the GFTU Young Members’ Development weekend (3-5 November 2023)

Napo is affiliated to the GFTU (a federation for smaller specialist trade unions and specialist sections of larger unions). They are holding another exciting Young Members’ Development weekends this year, free for Napo young members (ie up to the age of 40).

It will be held at Quorn Grange in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Members who have previously been on one of these events have found them educating, inspiring and a great way to share experiences and get to know members from other unions.

Napo’s Young Members’ Network meeting Wednesday 28th June at 9.30am (via Teams)

Napo has a Young Members’ Network and if you want to know more about it and get involved, as well as regarding the GFTU weekend coming up, please get in touch with Annoesjka Valent at avalent@napo.org.uk  immediately especially if you want to join Napo’s group attending the GFTU weekend.

We will email more details with link to join the meeting on the 28th June separately to all members up to the age of 40. Speak to non-members and tell them about great ways to get involved in Napo and the free event in November.

We will also be getting together in person at Napo’s AGM 19-21 October in Nottingham to discuss ways of how we can get more young people involved in joining a union and Napo and what future events may be coming up we can promote or we can plan ourselves.
