National Shop Steward Network (NSSN) Lobby of Special TUC Congress on Saturday 9th December
The National Shop Steward Network (NSSN) will be holding a lobby in advance of the special TUC Congress meeting called for 9th December. This special congress is called on the back of the attacks around the Minimum Services Level (MSL) Bill (otherwise called as Strike Bill) to campaign against the vicious attack by the Tory Government to try and further prevent unions from taking lawful industrial action.
NSSN says: “This year’s annual TUC Congress passed the motion making provision for this Special Congress. It stated that ‘Congress pledges 100% solidarity with any trade unions attacked under these MSL laws’ and included to ‘support demonstrations and hold a national march opposing the legislation and calling for repeal of the anti-union laws’ and ‘organise a Special Congress, size to be determined, to explore options for non-compliance and resistance.'”
Below is the info for the lobby and if you are intending to come along to this, please contact Annoesjka Valent at firstname.lastname@example.org to get details for a meet-up point for Napo.
Also the TUC has launched a campaign to write to your MPs over this bill – please do this here at https://actionnetwork.org/letters/our-right-to-strike/
