PCS members working for pensions administrator MyCSP are taking a stand that speaks to the heart of what trade unionism is all about. They’ve already been out on strike for 10 weeks, a brave and determined fight against management’s refusal to allow PCS to represent staff in talks ahead of the planned TUPE transfer to Capita this December.
At stake is something fundamental: the right to representation. PCS members believe they deserve a voice in the discussions and decisions that will directly affect their jobs, their working conditions and their futures. And they’re absolutely right. No one should be left without their union at the table when decisions of this scale are being made.
Their struggle will resonate with Napo members who know too well what it feels like when employers try to sideline our negotiators, cut unions out of the process, or impose changes without genuine dialogue. When one group of workers is attacked in this way, it matters to us all.
That’s why it’s so important to show solidarity. PCS has called a Mega Picket line on:
40 Tithebarn Street, Liverpool, L2 2BW
Monday 29 September, from 8am
If you can be there in person, your presence will make a real difference and be a visible reminder that these members are not alone. And if you can’t make it to Liverpool, there are still ways to stand shoulder-to-shoulder: share your support online, talk about their fight with colleagues, and spread the word.
This dispute isn’t just about one workplace. It’s about defending the principle that workers have the right to be represented, heard and respected. These members are taking the brave decision to stand up for their rights. Let’s make sure they know the trade union movement has their backs.

As always, I would support my comrades in their attempts for better working conditions. Unfortunately, I am unable to make the picket that has been arranged on 29th September 2025.
Solidarity from all your Napo Comrades brothers and sisters, and although some cant be there to join the picket, we will all be there in Sprit. We are behind you in the ongoing fight against oppressive management practices , their unwillingness to sit around the negotiating table and the continued assault on the rights of working People .
Gezza x
Solidarity to comrades cannot join the picket but happy to display flags and stickers if provided in support .
